The Quai d’Orsay Clemenceau, which comes in the iconic Julieta No.2 vitola, better known as a Churchill. It measures 7 inches (178mm) long with a 47 ring gauge, and is a size found throughout the Habanos S.A. portfolio. It was also once a size in the Quai d’Orsay portfolio, though it was known as the Imperiales. It was released in 1974 when the brand debuted, but was discontinued in 2015.
The name Clemenceau comes from Georges Clemenceau, a French statesman who more than a century ago lent his name to a habano of the same format. This new Edición Regional is not just a nod to him, but is being released in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Coprova, the exclusive distributor of Habanos S.A. products in France. As such, its secondary band not only indicates its Edición Regional status, but recognizes Coprova’s anniversary as well.
A limited run of 15,000 boxes of 10 cigars.
